We hope to use this page to keep members updated on each other and on the latest happenings within the organization.

A number of years ago, a housekeeper was alone in the building at at time when it was locked to the public entry (a weekend, I think).  After cleaning everything in the ground floor reference area, a commotion was heard in the bathrooms behind the reference desk, but inspection revealed that no one was there.  Then muddy footprints were seen on the carpeting of the main reference area --but starting in the middle of the floor.  The housekeeper was spooked and called for another staffer to come to the building.  When that person arrived, the footprints were gone.  Hmmm.

In addition, voices have frequently been heard --even during daylight hours-- in or near the hallway across from the Teaching and Learning Center on the second floor.

Recent Events

In this column we may review past events and how successful each of them was. For example, this past month we had twenty-four members visit the local shelter to help feed lunch to the homeless. It was an enjoyable experience for everyone involved, and one we hope to do again.

Let us know if there are any events or updates you would like to share with fellow members.
